Our Services
Life doesn’t always go to plan, but putting the right plans in place can make a huge difference. At Pelagion Advisory, we help you make sense of the important decisions that protect you, your family and the things you’ve worked hard for. From Wills and Trusts to Lasting Powers of Attorney, our approach is personal, straightforward and designed to give you confidence that the right things are in place for the future.

Wills
A Will is one of the simplest and most important ways to protect the people and things that matter to you. Without a valid Will, your estate may not be distributed in the way you would have wanted.
At Pelagion Advisory, we make writing a Will straightforward, personal and easy to understand. We’ll take the time to understand your circumstances, explain your options clearly and help you put the right arrangements in place for your family, your assets and your wishes.
Whether you’re writing your first Will, updating an existing Will or your circumstances have changed, we can help you make sure your wishes are clearly documented and your loved ones are considered.
A Will can help you:
-
Decide who should inherit your money, property and possessions
-
Make provisions for children or other dependants
-
Choose who you would like to administer your estate
-
Set out your wishes clearly and reduce uncertainty for your family
-
Work alongside other estate planning arrangements, such as Trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney
You don’t need to wait for a major life event to write a Will. Putting one in place now can provide valuable peace of mind and make things easier for the people you leave behind.
Trusts & Trust Planning
Trusts can be a valuable part of your estate planning, helping you manage and protect assets for the people who matter to you.
But with different types of Trusts available, understanding whether one is right for you can feel complicated.
At Pelagion Advisory, we make Trust planning easier to understand. We’ll take the time to understand your circumstances, explain the options available to you and help you consider how a Trust could fit alongside your Will and wider estate plans.
A Trust may be appropriate in a range of circumstances, including where you want to:
-
Protect assets for children or other beneficiaries
-
Control how and when certain assets are passed on
-
Make provisions for someone who may need additional support
-
Plan for the future of a family business or other significant assets
-
Consider how your estate could be structured as part of your wider estate planning
Every family and financial situation is different, which is why we take a personal approach rather than offering a one-size-fits-all solution.
Our aim is simple: to help you understand your options and put appropriate plans in place with confidence.

Lasting Powers of Attorney
None of us knows what the future might bring. A Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) allows you to choose someone you trust to make important decisions on your behalf if you’re unable to make them yourself.
At Pelagion Advisory, we make setting up a Lasting Power of Attorney straightforward and easy to understand. We’ll guide you through the process, explain the different types of LPA and help you consider who you would want to act on your behalf.
There are two types of Lasting Power of Attorney:
-
Health and Welfare LPA – allows your chosen attorneys to make decisions about your healthcare, treatment and welfare if you’re unable to make those decisions yourself.
-
Property and Financial Affairs LPA – allows your chosen attorneys to help manage your finances, property and other financial matters if you’re unable to do so.
Putting an LPA in place isn’t just about planning for later life. An unexpected illness, accident or loss of capacity can happen at any age, and having the right arrangements in place can give you and your loved ones greater clarity and peace of mind.
It’s about choosing who you trust to help when you need it most — while you’re still able to make that choice yourself.
